Biography
Arbalest was once a normal Magi tech mage, aspiring for greatness. He was fantastically gifted, and blessed with family and wealth. One fateful night, his latest invention suddenly went horribly wrong. His family and entire village were killed by a horrible dose of radiation, and only he survived. Arbalest suspected that his invention was sabotaged by one of his jealous colleagues. Unable to prove his innocence, he was sentenced to life in prison. He spent many years locked in a dark cell pondering his misfortune. Luckily for Arbalest, he was released by a swordsmen officer, Mathias Greyl, and the tech mage now follows him everywhere.
Personal traits
Arbalest was a kind person before his accident. However, after an unhealthy dose of radiation and many years in prison much of his sanity is lost. Arbalest cannot talk at all, and most of his personality is lost. He is almost unresponsive to anyone he does not know, but follows his friends loyally. Despite his loss of social skills, he is believed to have retained most of his brilliant engineering skills.
Combat
Despite his slow and lethargic appearance, Arbalest can move with a lightning speed when he wants to. He is equipped with a pair of powerful spells pistols, which make him an extremely dangerous opponent.
